Camera body mounts? (MD80)

However, the hard plastic eventually becomes brittle and I've not spotted a new one for sale, so maybe I'll have to switch to body mounting too.

I finally got round to trying this. Body mounting an MD80 doesn't seem to work well. Maybe the camera is too light? Even clipped onto a strap it's picture of sky followed by long picture of left kerb followed by a bit more sky...

Could anyone reading this recommend a particular body mount, please? I've got the spring clip, magnet and tilt arm mounts, plus the lanyard, if any of that helps to attach it.

Or is using a rubbery 8 handlebar mount as good as it'll get?
