Just had a late birthday present thorugh the post. Its a Campag 10 speed Record cassette (new) in box. Now, do I replace my new Chorus cassette with the recored, or do I sell it on ????
This is a bit of a dilemma...Ti sprockets are designed to make the cassette lighter rather than longer lasting so I'd rather have the Chorus. But I'd feel bad about selling a gift. Keep them both and use the Record cassette on special days.
I'm with Rob: sell the Record - I've heard that Ti sprockets can wear out. Better have durability/longevity with Chorus than save a few grams with Record IMO.
Well I'm with you guys as regards to durability........I'll keep the record for the moment and then sell...................Beancounter.....Record ???????
