Campagnolo braze on triple front derailleur

Not bothered about colour but would like it to be in good condition. Also need a racing triple mech if available

I have a racing triple on one bike and decided to change my other bike over to a triple. I was looking for a racing triple front mech but they were going for too much on eBay so I was looking for alternatives and then I thought I'd just give my Chorus 'double' front mech a go and see if it worked ... With minor tweaking it DID! I have it working with a Stronglight 48/36/28 triple chainset from Spa Cycles. The Chorus 10 speed left shifter had plenty of clicks to cover the required range of movement.

So ... if you have a Campag double groupset on the bike, you may be able to do what I did to change it to a triple. The chainset cost me about £70 and I bought a Shimano UN55 bottom bracket to suit, for another £12 or so.

Cheers. I am using downtube levers for now so may just try and move the mech. I ended up buying a campagnolo triple as it's an Italian bike and it's nice to keep it as such
