Hi All,

has anyone replaced the centre brake pivot bolt on Campag Skelton brakes? I need to add a longer bolt as the front caliper bolt doesn't fit old school forks. I was thinking of using the Jtek Tektro 70mm bolt from SJS cycles but I can't determine if the head will fit the recess nor if the threads are the same. It would be a bit of a gamble, or I chicken out and by another set of calipers.

Here is the replacement bolt. Any advice is greatly received.

Drill out the back of the fork to take the sleeve nut, I.ve done it to a couple of mine
NOTE only drill out the back and ensure that the drill is the correct size, the sleeve nut should be a snug fit in the enlarged hole.

I took the brave pills and drilled it as suggested. Perfect job....

Bike looks superb... Build almost complete.

Thanks for the nudge.
