I think these Ever Ready rear lamps changed to the square type in 1978 or maybe 1979 so I'll go for late 70s. You'll probably see date codes on the brake calipers and maybe some other bits when you get it.

Thanks for those useful replies. The bike arrived looking pretty shabby but i was pleased with it as the paint was so good. After a couple of days work I sold it on looking near mint and working perfectly. Sadly I sold it before I thought to look at the back of the callipers for a date stamp but the next one I got was stamped 77 on the back.

I have a unexplained love of girls bikes even if I do look a tit riding them.
