Hi

Long shot this I know but if you don't ask......

I need to get a small parcel (about 18" cube weighing about 4Kg) to a mate in WSM, just off J21 M5. Not desperately urgent but needs to be delivered fairly soon.

If anyone is passing down the M5 and would be willing to do this then I could meet you off J6 or J7 M5 and I'm sure I could arrange for you to be met at J21. I was going to send by RM but it's £22!

Happy to donate beer tokens if anyone's willing.

In the past I've used Senditnow without problems - still a Royal Mail van that turns up though.

....so let's get this right, someone on the internet (you don't know) asked you to take a parcel (that you don't know what's in it) to someone (that you don't know)

I am sure it is completely innocent.

But it is just such a scenario that gets people into trouble in Thailand.

I'm leaving this thread now, as I've more than likely scuppered any chance Debian had of getting it moved!!!

Sorry, I am sure it's legit', but my spider senses would tell me I'd need to know you, what was in the box, and who I was dropping it off with?

I'm out of here.

Yes, you're absolutely correct. In fact I thought exactly the same after I posted the OP.

However, I'm a trusting soul, probably too trusting and if I saw this thread as a respondent I'd probably offer to do it so I thought nothing of posting the question.

But you are quite correct to be sceptical.
