Can anyone tell me any info about this tricycle please? ☺️

Barron was formed in 1980, so its 41 at the oldest. From what little detailmis visoble my gut call is early 80's.

Im no authority on trikes, and the market demand is somewhat limited. By somewhat I actually mean extremely. Nevertheless, its a reasonable quality frame and looks in generally good order. Put some tyres on it and a nice seat and it might be worth in the £250 range, but that's totally dependent on finding a buyer in what is a very niche market segment.

Conversely, if the seat post is seized in the frame itll be worth more broken for parts.
Stick a 1 in front of that estimate, handbuilt racing trikes are several thouand quid new.

Isn't @raleighnut a bit of a three wheel enthusiast?
I'm sure someone will be up for it but as @Drago says it's a very limited market and you might wait a while.
Bit posher than mine (and a lot lighter)

Riding them is an art in itself. I've tried and finished up in someone's garden!
I never quite got the gang of it but you have to lean in the opposite direction to what you do on a two wheeler.
Wifey has a 20'' wheel Pashley trike. She whizzes all over on it. She frightens me.

yep, the trick is to just let them move about under you, don't try and fight them.

2 tips,
Never ever put your feet down unless you're getting off
When cornering you keep all your weight on the inside pedal, totally opposite to a 2 wheeler.

The issue is not perhaps the "value", but the miniscule size of the maket.

Who's going to buy a hand built racing trike? The number of people liable to be interested, and who have the readies available, and who are hot to trot the moment it comes up for sale will be easily outnumbered by the respondents in this thread.

Outside of that its the open, non specialist market, and I would stand by my 250ish estimate, if the seatpost is free in the frame.

You are bang on Mr Nut, potentially it could be worth a good few shekels indeed, but the far, far more likely sceneario is of a buyer on the open market coming forward and they will have little interest in provenance etc. It's not impossible that the particular breed of trike enthusiast buyer may come forward, but it does not seem terribly realistic.

As an aside, were it a large frame size i would have been interested myself.

Of course it is. The only reason OP came on here was to get enough info to describe and price it.
We've been used...again.
Let's have a guess. Clearing out a deceased relatives garage and has seen a chance to make a few bob???
What do you suggest? Leaving it to rot in the garage or letting someone else have the pleasure of it who actually has an interest in trikes?

Harsh and not very welcoming no matter how true.

I would love a trike but not enough room in the garage for one I am afraid .
