Most spiders, I don't mind. I find orb spiders quite fascinating and will happily touch them.

The omly time I have had hospital treatment-other than for stitching minor wounds-was after a garden spider bit me on the lower eyelid, which swelled up to the size of a ping-pong ball and turned black.
