Well, this is a hard one to write about; some fat, as roadrash alludes to, and Carl's mirror idea is on the right track. Keeping things fresh? It's sort of like that but not limited to objects in their solid state. Recipes for cakes or bread, sure.
This is also a 'close' word to use...but not a centrifuge, although possibly you could take this for a spin and eventually go places?
