Hello CycleChat friends !

I have recently purchased used Koga Miyata Globetraveller -S bike. It'a an old model from what I can tell. I was trying to find some info on it but with no luck. The closest match I found is a model from 2004 but frame and some details are different. Can you please help me to identify this bike. It was quite a bargain and I would be even more happy if I knew some more about this great bike. I am attaching 2 pictures - it's on its way to me so I don't have much. Once It arrives at my door I can post some more. Thanks in advance !

Why not contact Koga directly - they're usually pretty helpful.

That's what I first found, but isn't frame a bit different ? It seems to be a bit thicker.

I have 3 Koga bikes. In my experience the bikes are brilliant but their customer service is awful. So bad that even my LBS, who is a Koga dealer, has complained to them, on my behalf.

Thats a lovely looking bike Baboonst.

This is my Koga World Traveller. i have had it for about 4 years and you can see the design is not a lot different from yours. Its an excellent touring bike.

I know my bike is missing some bits like extra bottle carriage or pump. Is there anywhere I can find original parts other then Koga dealer ?
