Oh what the hell...in for a penny and all that.....so heres my view (like you've all been waiting with bated breath to here what i thought).

I have noticed... and even commented ...on the LAD centric side to some of the threads etc on the forum.

I've always had an issue with sexism and tend to react whenever I hear a comment (in real and virtual life) that smacks of it, I commented only a few days ago on the apparent exclusion of the "girls" on one thread.

However, A.M, in my honest and objective opinion, wasn't intending to be sexist or offensive, He was just a little unsubtle in his phrasing.

But, chaps...put yourself in the position of someone who is ..In general...always hearing stuff like this and who will, inevitably (and justifiably) become defensive of it.

We are all just as quick to leap to the defensive when we hear someone making "inappropriate comments" about cyclists, so how is patheticshark or tt's response any different.

So please, lets stop bashing those who stand up for themselves (as we all do) and all try to see it from each others perspectives

And remember, we are privileged to have members from all walks of life so just try to bear that in mind when posting.

I need a fag now.......

Well I'm feeling offended on behalf of public spitoons now so you will understand if I get a bit huffy and go off in a strop

his rusted steed

Rust!...ooo no, Chitty and i dont do rust, she's an all-ali kinda gal.

Actually I noticed that my computer wasnt working this morning (was quite a pleasant change riding along witthout a thought to how fast i was going) but then noticed that i'd put her front wheel in back to front (after cleaning last night) and the sensor was now on the wrong side....doh!.

So if anyone saw a tall chap stop at the light's in brockley and suddenly start taking his front wheel off...for no apparent reason...that was me.

20 yard's later i realised I hadn't reconnected the front brake....double doh!!

good job i remembered to screw my head before i left the house.
