Hello,
I've got this bike:
Cannondale Supersix Evo 2014
https://www.sigmasports.com/item/Cannondale/SuperSix-Evo-HM-Red-Racing-Edition-Road-Bike-2014/2PVY
bottom bracket: Cannondale Alloy PF30 BB Cups, FSA BB30 Bearings
Bought it on eBay some time ago, excellent condition, not used that much at all apparently. I've only done 3000 miles on it -- all dry miles, don't use in wet. Now, the bottom bracket is clicking/creaking quite a bit.
First, is using it while it's clicking/creaking making it worse, doing damage?
Second, what should I do, how to fix it?
Years ago, I had a Supersix Ultegra 2016 (which got stolen, not insured
(( ). Then, I remember on whatever cycle forum I used to use, Cannondale BB30s clicking/creaking was quite an ongoing issue. I never had it on the one I've just mentioned. I seem to remember taking it apart and heavily greasing was the general advice.
So I'm looking to do this as cheaply as possible. And don't have any of the necessary tools yet (the specialist for this bracket ones, I have basic standard tools).
What does anyone advise? Thanks.
