I would like an Aero Road bike next ideally, so didn't want to blow n+1 agreement from the missus and miss something Aero when the time is right. Lol.

Why specifically an aero bike? Just out of curiosity.

Because I am increasingly finding that I enjoy doing the same relatively flat local rides as fast as I can possibly go. If we assume this an Aero Road bike would be faster on this type of stage, then that's my motivation to get one. Obviously, some will argue that the gain is not that much, but if I was to buy n+1 then that would be where I gravitate towards. Also like their styling too.
