I have been looking for a disc road bike to do club rides on for a long time but i cant afford a new one so its been a long search on ebay and facefluff market place and as im a shorty its like looking for the proverbial needle in haystack.
After a number of near misses ranging from time wasters and bad descriptions i saw a bike that looked promising for sale at the LBS . i messaged the owner as i know him from cub rides and taking my bikes in but he didnt respond so i got back from a short holiday and popped in and found out it had been on holiday too .
I had a little test ride and found it to be the right size so after i had been to the shops to stock up the cupboards at home i asked mrsck who gave me the thumbs up .
I have bought it home and done a basic fit which included a longer stem, pedals and changing the saddle from the memory foam monstrosity that was on it , it has stock tiagra 4600 so i have gone though the parts bin and found a tiagra 4700 rd and made a cheeky bid on some tiagra 4700 shifters so i intend to get ride of the washing line cables at some point , the front deraillier should work ok ? its a bit of a minefield on the internet as some say it will and some say it will not ....
Probably over paid but its given me a bit of a project
