Hi rodgy-dodge.

No, not yet... I ordered it on the friday night, but what with the bank holiday monday,,plus they have not got my size in stock so they have to order it,, which i think takes about 8 days,,, so i expect it will be a couple of weeks yet...still i'm in no rush as such,,with the money saved it will be worth it..

Thanks for asking though..

I don't know how your budget's fixed waggoner, or even if your interested, but Wheelbase have knocked £300 off the absolutely awesome CAAD10 105 model - now under a grand

Yes, i seen the CAAD10 when i was looking,,nice bike, but having long legs i wanted a 61cm frame,,which they don't have in the CAAD 10,,, but thats fine,,the Synapse will do me fine for what i want,,been having a root about and it seems to get good reviews, so i'm happy,,

Different note,,how did you get on with your frame from Bristol??? was going to add to your post about it...any luck??

Shut up Legs!
I've been looking at this bike as well and that's a fabulous price! I'm determined to go out and try a few before i buy though but i'll be interested to see what you think when it arrives.

Tempted to go for the 105 instead but it's a big difference in price.

An update.. Their all gone!! There's none left!! Cannondale Uk and Europe have none..

But,,i've been offered the 2012 model instead,,at a slighty discounted price. Its now got a BB30 bottom bracket and the tiagra gears are now 10 speed on the back instead of 9 speed. And its in matt black (not sure on that!). But its still a price jump from the discounted 2011 model..

Decisions,Decisions..

Whats wrong with BB30. It allows for a lighter and stiffer crank axle. Both my Cannondales are BB30, unfortunatelly the CAAD9 is fitted with a tiagra crankset, thus had a BB30-standard adapter in it.

Plus, BB30 cranksets look cooler

Err my BB collapsed big time after initial ride back in July. Cannondale agreed a replacement bike upon inspection. This new one is fine tho

Just joined after getting chuffed off with other forums, this place seems friendly so hello to all.

From my own experience I've had creaking issues with my BB30, it seems to be higher maintenance than every bike I've had with Hollowtech II. Once stripped and greased it's spot on, but I've never needed to strip and grease any HT II BB's in the past other.

Perhaps I was unlucky and now I've greased it hopefully it won't happen again, if thats the case I'll swop my boo for BB30 to a yeah!. If it doesn't it'll be an adapter and a Dura-Ace chainset for me.
