Camera noob - point and shooter - but picked up a nice lens and need either a cheap Canon Eos DSLR to practice on or a not-so-cheap 5D Classic.

Just make sure your lens is full frame compatible if you're after a 5D.

I've a canon 5D mk2 and a 700D - I think the 700D is a cracking camera and it cost just over £400 about 18 months ago.

Thanks - yes the lens is an old Trioplan with M42 mount and I have an adapter. The experts seem to think it would be best with a full frame sensor.
