I have the allez sport 2013 with sora components which I now use as a winter bike.
The forks are CF so it will feel a bit different to the standard frame but I still enjoy riding it even though I have upgraded to a full CF frame with ultegra components.
PS - I have a 56 cm frame and am just under 6ft and it fits fine

I have a Merlin, the lower spec S2200 that they have discontinued, but similar to the PR7 they sell now. I've done just over 11,000, and whilst I've replaced almost everything on it over the years (winter commuting takes it's toll) the frame is still going strong and rides really well. I also have no complaints with Merlin customer service, they are always prompt to reply to emails.
