My decorating task is over.All i can do now is help Mrs P who is sorting through boxes,staying going exercise.Carpet men coming tomorrow.Mrs P goes to Goosnargh in the afternoon with her second sister,boxing and clearing.Thursday morning movers from Preston are coming to the village to move big items here for father in law.With his permission anything the ladies don't think is useful will be cleared by a house clearance firm.We still have no stairlift sorted with it being a bank holiday.Thursday our two small sofas go in the garage to be collected by a local church,plus two or maybe three tellys are going for free.It will be a close run thing he arrives here from a local care home on Friday.We still have a lot to do.

Little story.he arrived at the care home last Friday.He has had more visits from us, his second daughter his third daughter, grandkids,today Mrs P picked him up and took him to a cafe at Roundhay Park where i was waiting to help him walk to the cafe.Little did he know our daughter was already there sat at a table,his face at the surprise made my eyes water just a little bit.It is going to be fabulous on Friday when he finally gets here.He could have had this last year,but he was much better then,sadly he has lost weight and now looks old,we need to feed him up.

Had enough now the carpets are coming this morning.every room is a bomb site.even the conservatory,and the garage got involved this morning.I have had to move things around in there also bikes, boxes lawnmower to get two heavy awkward sofas out of the house,thankfully they are not coming back in.my tether is tethered and frayed,it is nearly over.Two lovely carpets by lunchtime oh the joy.Then Mrs P and me will put back a couple of things then she goes to Lancashiree for two days,me i have our land to pootle about on no decorating hooray.Slowly we have got there.
Well guess what five doors had to come off.Too tight so they are orf and waiting for a bloke to shave/plane them down tomorrow.Half an inch should do.Plus we cannot get anyone to dismantle and move the stairlift so Acorn stairlifts came here today and one is being fitted on Friday.The cost £3490.oh.So that is just short of £5700 on two stairlifts in fifteen months,one in Goosnargh and ours in Leeds.Anyway Mrs P and her sister are in Goosnargh tonight and tomorrow furniture is coming Thursday Father in law is here Friday i am now finishing a very LARGE A;ldi chocolate bar and my second pint of Ruby Red Ale,oh it is nice.For lunch tomorrow i have black pudding and a Melton Mowbray pork pie,i do eat all the wrong things Anmyway cheers everyone going to bed early a bit light headed.
