After nearly six weeks of waiting my Canyon Endurace should be here soon, really can't wait. That's the good news. The bad news is I have torn my cartilage in my knee again. I can just about manage ten miles cycling before the pain killers don't work any more, I'm pedaling with my left leg and letting the right one come along for the ride but that's no good for hills.
Anyone here managed to carry on cycling with this or have you had to resort to surgery? This will be the third time I've torn it but the previous times were due to running and skydiving and surgery sorted it out each time. The main problem is, I have signed up for a seventy mile sportive in October and there is no way I'm going to miss it, it'll be my first big ride and have been looking forward to it for months.
P.S if you can't say anything positive then please feel free to lie, I'll believe anything that helps me get back on my bike. I've only done twenty miles this week and I really miss it. (Christ, I sound like a drug addict; OMG what have I become since I bought a bike? These things should come with a health warning!)
