Canyon Roadlite 6.0 Vs Rose Pro-2000

I've had to start another thread as a couple of forum members were kind enough to point me in the direction of these two German bike companies who appear to offer unrivaled value for money.

I would order a Canyon Roadlite 6.0 today, the bike has an incredible spec for its price tag but I'm put off by the fact that there is a 9 week waiting list until one can be delivered. You even get a free torque wrench! Crazy value: http://www.canyon.com/_en/roadbikes/bike.html?b=2502

The other option is a Rose 2000 Pro. This bike looks similar, the finishing kit is slightly cheaper though but the price tage is £40 more. Plus they don't seem to be as well known as Canyon. Only positive I noticed if I bought one of these they have them in stock so it should arrive in about a week. In addition unline Canyon (I think) you can specify things like stem, crank and bar length (i'm very broad so i'd need the widest bars available). http://www.rosebikes.co.uk/article/rose-pro-2000-double/aid:557606

Any opinions on these Canyon and Rose bikes; why are the Rose bikes more expensive when they have cheaper finishing kits. The other option is the Ribble Evo Pro Carbon which seems not as good value when you compare it to these two. At the moment i'm quite tempted by the Rose but would like to hear a few opinions on them, it's a real shame the Canyon isn't in stock until 3rd Sept otherwise i'd have ordered that today

I know nothing about Rose bikes. But I used to work in London with a guy who had a Canyon Ultimate AL 9.0, which he got in one of their sales. It was beautifully finished; he loved it and said the ride was outstanding. They tend to have equipment that's at least one level up from an equivalent price point on other brands.

I can also tell you that Canyon bikes used to win group tests all the time in France (particularly in L'Acheteur Cycliste; occasionally in Le Cycle) - but recently I notice that they appear less frequently in tests.

I assume you checked Canyon's Instant Availability and Outlet sections for ready made-up bikes in your size? And I'm pretty sure you can specifiy crank length, bar width and so on in your personal details (there's a comments section in one of the stages before heading to the checkout) - or by giving them a ring.

Oh, I do know cyclists in France who bought Canyons had problems getting their LBS to work on them; but then the French aren't averse to that sort of thing. I doubt that's a problem in the UK, if that's where you're based.

Rose are excellent bike I have the Carbon Pro RS. Btw I don't see in their spec anything downgraded from the Canyon. And also their weight is ridicules. I almost sure it is a mistake! If you like the Rose, go for them, you wont be disappointed.

Thanks...! also rides amazingly. I was surprised from its stiffness and conformal ride. It eats the Tarmac. Btw the UI2 is also beyond words!
