Anyone ever tour with a cape...if so are there any really robust, comfortable cape recommendations for the taller gent.

I've used capes in the past, for cycling, you want a cape made for cycling, with gather in the back, or something to hold it down, and thumb straps in front. This keeps the cape in place at speed. Brooks makes a nice one. I currently use a runners coat. I find it better, especially in wind.

I have a Rotrax cape somewhere - but my wife nicked it for use as a "loo tent"

She was shown by the cycle tourist Jose Dew that they provided a superb modesty covering for ladies who wished to go the loo in country areas

is very similar to the one i bought from Argos some years ago. Brilliant in rain, you stay unsweaty and not rained on. Feet get wet, obvs.
I have to say I had a good laugh at the picture with the man obviously not photoshopped into their product.
