I'm not convinced it will do any good, but at least the police are trying.

Its OK as a sign but it would be better used to catch a scumbag riding it once stolen. All this is going to do is tell them to take a different bike.a sign on the wall tells you they are using capture bikes.

Obviously the yellow bikes are just meant as a deterrent, the actual capture bikes are just normal bikes.

Anyway, it appears that one thief has been captured and sent down:

It would be pointless stealing that one, what value would you get trying to sell that on!

I might go down the car boot, or dump, avail myself of a bike like that in the OP, paint it the same colour and have "Police Capture bikes in operation" stickers on it, then ride it round town. I think that would amuse me for five about minutes.
