My partner finally has found a car she's happy with. A 60plate 1.6 Focus Mk2 FSH with new pads/discs and cambelt water pump etc all receipted. There's a just a couple of issues need some attention, cracked rear fog light(seller will reimburse, sourced already), the NS wing mirror needs nipping up as it's slightly loose. A good clean inside and out to my standard...it wont last
I've booked it in for four new boots tomorrow, I've gone for Goodyear vector 4 seasons at £323 as it's currently on some old winter tyres and the noise is terrible and they're on the way out both in tread and perishing. I was going to go for the CC gen 3 but the Goodyear reviews state they're softer and quieter, the cars ride is slightly firm compared to her now crumpled Note(now available at Copart St Helens).

He wont be so hard when Mavis fits him up and gets him sent to chokey!

Finally some fine weather.

Spent a good proportion of the day changing all the pads on MrsF's car and changing the fluid. Whilst at it gave the wheels a good clean and repainted the inside of the wheels as there was some bubbling of the black paint. Also undersealed the suspension components (buzz weld).
The MOT said the rear pads were wearing thin. They were not, neither was the front.
