I know someone who recently experienced a frame breakage at the point where the chainstays meet the BB. Bloke in the shop reckons it was caused by using the bike on a turbo.

The tacx attaches to the back wheel, that is why I was asking because once upon a time there were turbo's that attached to the front fork.
At a race meeting - track - cx - TT you see lot's of carbon bikes on turbo's as riders warm up. Ask yourself this, would a professional rider do such a dangerous thing? Having said that I think it is safe to say that those bikes will be top quality and a cheap frame might be different but this is a fault with the frame that could happen anywhere.
