Carbon fibre fix that worked

I have two tiny hairline cracks on the bottom of the seat stays on my Issac.
So contemplating getting it fixed. Have you had a successful patch up on your frame or was it a short lived win.

Sure it's not just the paint/lacquer?

There is no reason why a quality repair will not be as good as new.

Unfortunately they are definitely cracks . I have mate who works on carbon yachts who is going to have a look , but should I cut my losses?

Im awaiting the return of a frame , that had the chain stay rebuilt , seen the repair , looks good and every one tells me it's as good as new , just waiting for the bike to be rebuilt , and it will get used autumn time, so let's hope!

A bit of glue will sort it . No need to worry IMHO

I hope they don't find that they were witness cracks in the thick brittle paint and charge you for a full repair.
