I just hope the reply isn't a public front and the driver is properly on some warning.
In the last few weeks i've had one good and one bad incident. The bad one, similar to the egg incident above but swap the egg for phlegm as some scrote gobbed out of the passenger side window at me as him and his scummy mates went past. Fortunately it hit me on the shoulder but very unpleasant nevertheless.
The good was when i was really well followed and ultimately passed by a bus a couple of weeks back. The bus driver was awesome, keeping a good distance back through a section of road with lots of parked cars and central refuges. The section that normally vans and other buses have squeezed passed. He then passed me when the road widened up and you could have almost driven a car through the gap he left me. I emailed the bus company with the service no. and registration telling them what a great driver he was and they wrote back saying he's been commended for his driving.
So they're not all bad.

Funnily enough on Friday I thanked the driver of a van delivering stuff to my workplace for his superb and courteous driving at the same location.
and he did a damned fine job of installing the new desks for my IT team too.

I hope that you managed to get his number as I believe that is classed as assult. BentMikey has a thread somewhere about having the same happen to him and what the outcome was.

Sadly not. Happened a bit too quickly, and to be honest getting the number didn't realy cross my mind as it would have done if it were an accident or dangerous driving. Hopefully there won't be a next time, but i'll know for then.

I thought the same. Seems their view, based on a subsequent phone conversation, and that of the police, based on their response to another incident, is "we take it seriously until we smell a rat"
