Card skimming - Ellesmere Port area

I have had my credit card used for 2 transactions domain123 and Pizzahut that were made over the tel using my card details.
Before any IT geek assumes that my PC is malwared, I do not use this card over the web.
It was likely web cammed and skimmed either
on a pay at pump Shell garage off M56 Ellesmere Port
or
a rigged up shop at Cheshire Oaks

just a general be aware for everyone...
I must have shown both sides of card for the cv number to have been seen and noted

the bastards picked the wrong card to use this time 'cos I leave it maxxed..as it has low limit anyways..
will teach me not to leave the a/c unchecked for 72 hours before logging on...

Check every online a/c every 24 hours at least

We got ours skimmed at an Indian restaurant called Mala, which means BAD in Spanish. A certain Mrs Baig then went off with the copy and spent £1700 of our money just before Christmas on saris, Indian sweets, food, hotel rooms, petrol and Tesco shopping in 2 days - a hell of a spree.

We gave the Police our bank statement with 72 different transactions, the times and locations of each, full details. We told them they only had to go and check a few CCTV tapes and they would soon see Mrs Baig. Could they be bothered? Could they feck.

we had a problem with a cloned card and, to be fair, the bank sorted it out in their own time but without too much ado. we got all the money back and new cards issued forthwith. iirc the bank dealt with the police.
