rough ideas I had was meet in Wenvoe 6 to 6.30 (maybe later if it occurs when days are longer) then do an hour or two round the Vale finish with a pint in Wenvoe Arms .

Hi there . Next week Wednesday eve would be the best one for me.Can start anytime after about 2pm its light til gone 9 so before 7 pm start wouid be good.

My general thoughts were to do a couple of hours around the quieter roads in the Vale of Glamorgan maybe with a pit stop somewhere in the middle if its wanted.

Im no speed merchant more into leisure rides and audax than going fast.Hopefully with this thread bumped to the top again we may get a few more interested.

Had the pleasure of meeting Keith and Dyfrig for a very pleasant couple of hours cycling around the Vale of Glamorgan.
Weather was kind we passed through Wenvoe ,St Lythans ,Llancarfan ,Penmarc, Rhoose,Porthkerry, Barry then back to Wenvoe. Keith had to push on home for an unavoidable appointment so Dyfrig and I sampled a leisurely beer sat outside the Wenvoe Arms.Not a bad way to pass an afternoon.

You were lucky, he's never shown such consideration to me. Quite the opposite in fact . He made me 'work' all the way round . . . . . . . and then vanished out of sight. On future rides, just watch out for Lukesdad', he does quite a few of Banjo's rides and he doesn't hang around either.

I hope you enjoyed the ride, Dyfrig; hopefully, you'll venture out on another CChat ride. There's a nice bunch of riders in those parts, though for my liking, we don't spend quite long enough in the pubs.
