I bought a Carrera Subway 1 last year (from Halfords). The brakes have been fine until the past few days when the left brake lever appears to be sticking, therefore keeping the rear brakes depressed and causing the back wheel to not turn. There is a little screw near the brake lever which keeps going into the lever, causing the problem. Can anyone help?

WD40 spray the pivots - ........ and check where the brakes sit left right... - you do have to look after them - i.e keep 'em lubed......

WD40 is only good for freeing knackered parts, go get some good oil/lube.....

I wouldn't advise using WD40 on Brake parts unless your looking to crash the thing into the nearest wall.

Is this screw protuding out and up or out and left/right?
