Sort of reminds me of a Carlton Ten from the 60's but my mind is being poisoned by Eurovision !

It looks to be quite an old one judging by the grease port on the bottom bracket although that could have been fitted by the owner who seems to have replaced items as they broke/wore out, similar in a lot of ways to mine which has been on the road for 50yrs now.

It's interesting that the first 2 numbers and last 2 are repeated .

I was guessing around mid 70's going by the spear point lugs, Weinmann QR brake levers, and the plastic brake mounting nut !

You could have a look at the backs of the brake calipers to see what the date stamp is to give you an idea of its age ?

Does this machine have a frame number? Rear LH rear stay drop out? Could be a number of models...

Thank for the advice I'll have a look I thought the only numbers would be on the bottom bracket

Spoke to my Dad and the previous owner is a bloke in his late 70's.
He may have had the bike from new so hopefully I'll be able to get some more info
