Carlton Pro Am 12 Paint Code

Hi Folks,
Would anyone happen to know the correct paint code for a 1981 Carlton Pro Am 12? I understand the colour is called Polar Blue (it's a pale blue metallic) image attached. Also, any recommendations for a frame sprayer in SW London NE Surrey greatly appreciated. Many thanks, John

Raleigh had all their own internal paint codes. Starting with CF1 being black. They are not RAL etc.

Blue pearlescent - beautiful.

I don't know where you live, but if anywhere near Suffolk it could be worth your while checking out this chap:

He matches by eye (very well) and will provide the paint as match pot or spray can (although "pearlescent" will be impossible to do an invisible patch up on).

edit - sorry, brain dead on my part/not reading carefully. I realise that you are not near Suffolk
But, please get it sorted/don't give up on it, they are beautiful frames.

Is the equivalent colour on Raleigh bikes called Oyster?

Thanks for all your help. I have decided to stick with wet paint. Frame is currently with Mario. Hopefully, I'll be able to post a picture or two when collected.
