Used to use carphone warehouse and never had any problems. I am now on a contract with t-mobile and don't have any complaints about the service I'd had there.

A friend had a really bad experience with phones4u and I wouldn't use them because of that.

I guess it just depends on which shop, etc...

Are they still selling customers details off to 3rd parties ? Who then call you up (pretending to be from CPW)

Went into one of their shops and the sales person was to mch in your face. Don't like that so I walked out.

Was it actually phones4u that your friend had problems with or was it freephones4u?

The latter are sales agents for 3 and are complete arses (sorry, ejits is not strong enough for a company who set up a contract for a phone you have already rejected in accordance with distance selling regs which leaves you unable to get a mortgage or credit card due to a mark on your credit history)
