Hi may I ask why the sale as we went this weekend and my wife tried this bike and was going to buy it this week for £299 as a starter bike! This would be great starter for her

It is a great starter bike. It was my first one for over 25 years and it gave me loads of confidence. I now have a road bike and find I am not using it.
