Even assuming you get another brand via their C2W you will be paying a lot more as they do other brands at full rrp .
I was in the same situation last year and went for the road comp as the spesh, cannondales and trek`s all looked sweet but the boardman offered the most bang for the buck

Be aware that the TDF was about £300 up to a few weeks ago. It's a fairly reasonable assumption that just before Christmas they will have a sale and a massive reduction! So if you can wait a bit it should become a good bit cheaper.

Boardman everyday. I bought one in May from Wiggle for 550 euros (I live in France). Superb bike, excellent spec. for the money, comfortable and looks good. You won't be disappointed.

Each model in the range is so competitive at its price point compared to anything else – better spec. components, lighter, etc.

Boardman , but change the tyres to puncture resistant, bonty lite hardcase, cheap and very effective

Ive just got a Boardman comp on the C2W scheme and was going to go for the road race but practicality put paid to that. I like the Boardman range and I am really pleased with the quality and price of mine. Yes, Boardman for me.....good luck

I picked mine up in the box and built it myself as well as the mudguards and rear rack.

Got the Boardman in the end. Thanks for the advice everyone, it's fantastic! Taking a bit of time to get used to toe clips, but I'm getting there
