Carrera tdf road pro tyre size

Apologies in advance. I'm sure this has been asked loads of times.

I've got a carrera tdf I want to use for light touring. Can i fit 28mm tyres with/without mudguards?

If not I'll just replace the 23's with 25's.

Might be a bit tight with mudguards but it will be ok without.

IIRC a guy at work could only get 25c and guards together. Depends on the tyre however as each manufacturer is different in reality.

As already mentioned it depends on the tyre. 28mm Continentals are more like 25mm in some other brands.
I'm running 28mm Continental 4 season tyres & mudguards on my Claude Butler San Remo. No problem with clearance.
