I bought one new two years ago and it started my life as a MAMIL  It was my first proper bike since the 80's and I still use it now for commuting, a few thousands of miles on the clock.
Forks can be a bit hard, I much prefer my Cubes, you can change the wheels, pedals etc, but good as it comes and a bargain for £150 IMHO

Looks like a good bike. The question is... does it fit you?

I have one which I bought a couple of years ago. It is fine as a starter bike. Wheels were a bit naff but I've replaced them.

Brilliant for £150, if it's not too worn. Are the wheels true? Any play in the bottom bracket? Tyres ok? Play in head bearing? Any sharktoothing on the cassette/chainwheel? You can afford a bit of fixing but not too much. As jazloc said, does it fit you. If the pic is of the bike is set up for you that seat tube looks too far out. If you ride it like that it stress the frame or tube and it will fail at some point. You need at least 2" of tube in the frame. Otherwise go for it.
