Over the last month our moggie has decided it doesn’t want to come in the cat flap we had installed a couple of months ago and doesn’t even like coming in through the door , it waits till you open the window to let in in then gobbles the food down before going outside again.
Its all very odd as it used to follow mini ck 2 around like a lost sheep but now it barely stays inside and we cant work out why.

I think it might be heat - my furry overlord spends most of the day outside at the moment and wants to stay out overnight whereas once the temperature drops she will stay in over night and then in the winter barely goes outside - it is 28 degrees C in here at the moment!

As the GLW who does the feeding routine is away 'til Friday, obviously I'm on mess duty including various medications for our older 'family' members.
As I'm due at the cat sanctuary the morn at about 07.00h., it'll be another silly o'clock alarm call - !

As long as I breathe, I attack.
Cats are very independent creatures and will change or alter a habit of months, sometimes even years for no obvious reason.
Just go with the feline flow. ^_^
The puddy tat has taken up residence in a hedgerow in the front garden and comes out for food and the occasional 30 second fuss if your passing now and just comes in for food.
