I am using a CE2 pooter at the mo.....until I can save up for a nice new one for my new bike.
So....problem is that the wheel magnet on my bike is not going to fit the Fulcrum 1 wheels. Even my current WH-500 wheels with flat bladed spokes only just accept the magnet.

Any suggestions?
Cheers chaps

Just found this:

I wonder if it will cause wheel wobble at high speeds?

Will it not fit ?

The Cateye magnet is held on by a screw, you trap the spoke between the magnet and the screw, tighten together.

To the left/right depending which way up you have it, there's a groove in the back of the magnet which you slot a round spoke into.

But on the other side of the screw it's wider, allowing you to fit it to a flat bladed spoke.

I couldn't see how it would fit to Ksyrium bladed spokes but actually it was very easy and with lots of room to spare.

Point taken.
I am 32....so your 30 years out on that guess.

Can anyone recommend a wheel magnet that will fit onto large spokes other than the Mavic one I have shown.
I am concerned with regards to the balancing of the wheel at higher speeds.

Cheers

What is a 'pooter'

Sounds like something a 70 year old would say.

As for the pooter magnet, can you not file it to suit? I assume it's just a bit of plastic with 2 joined halves and a screw to clamp them together like the ones I remember.

I'd rather try and DIY it before splashing 7 quid on a new one!
