Easy done! Sensible to just pay up having seen what happens to these FPN's once the council pass them to the Bailiff sharks.

Just paid a FPN for driving in a part time bus/taxi/cyle lane. I admit. I did it. I paid up. Not worth trying to mitigate my offence by explaining I rarely drive my car along that road but cycle there most days and use the bus lane every time when on two wheels. It was just habit. Doh!
Sinner!
None of us are perfect, I was caught in a yellow box junction last year, £50 fine!

I have never broken any law in my life and never will.

The driving ban and the countless points over the decades were all part of a massive fit-up!

I have nothing but contempt for anyone who fails to live up to the very high standards I set for everyone else.

Thank you.

The penalty used to be much higher I remembered going to Tower bridge magistrate court, I got fined over £150 plus 6 points!! This was back in the early 90s when there were loads of trafffic officers going up and down the Old Kent Road on their Motorbikes.

Themselves the breaks!
Only FPN I ever got in 30 years was turning left on a no turning left in central London by Coventry Garden.
satNav told me to and i couldn't see the damned 3mm sign under the green light!

I have 2 routes to work, one is to cycle through the grounds of Stepping Hill hospital, the other is to avoid the grounds of Stepping Hill and drive up the A6 to the Pheonix pub before turning right. I have found myself driving into the hospital complex before realising my mistake on the odd occasiomn!
