Thinking my sturnley archer tube adjuster needs a fondle.

I took the bsa to work today dunno but i must have knocked against the adjuster tube. So changing gear wasn't great, therefore ive achieved muscles like an olympian i was pushing that hard! Im just trying to remember the way to do this ....you tube to the rescue i think when i hit the homestead, that was my commute.

You might have damaged/tightened a link or two on the adjustment chain, causing a stiffness that makes changing gear harder.

Worth checking.

I couldn't find my feeler gauge to poke into the wee hole on the rear wheel shaft to gauge distance. Ach feck, here we go again,

It seems my first bike ride will be to chapel for confession the way this post is going ✝️
