Rich, add exoticism with a can of braised tofu - looks like seasoned rolled-up newspaper - splendid fare to accompany all your fine wines and other things which you think you have hidden out of sight

Those smoked oysters are ok but not as good as fresh.

Caviar is ok, nice but not so nice that I can see what the fuss is all about.

Tripe, tofu, dried cod, saltfish, fish roe, escargo, hearts, kidneys, liver, intestines, pigs trotters , all good stuff. making me feel hungry now.

years ago I was given a tin of caviar by a Russian I had some dealings with through work. I opened it one Sat afternoon when I couldn't be bothered to go to the shops. I had it on toast. It was lovely! I have no idea how much it cost, but it was probably an expensive snack!
