I'm not sure if I could be bothered to pass the test now. Which I believe is the purpose of making people jump through so many hoops - make it such an expensive faff that bikers disappear from view; and from the numbers I see on the road these days, that aim has been quite successful.I take my hat off to them as I am not sure I could pass the test now
You haven't been to Manchester Velodrome then.I have been a biker for nearly fifty years and I am amazed at the number of hoops that prospective motorcyclists have to jump through these days to get a full licence. I take my hat off to them as I am not sure I could pass the test now.
One of my friends young girlfriend passed her test a couple of years ok and thought that after the requisite time, which I think was two years she just had to apply to have her full licence upgraded to be able to ride a larger capacity bike but because the rules had changed she had to retake her test on a larger bike to get an upgrade on her licence. Thankfully she did and passed but what a palaver.
As for me yes I have been motorcycling for over fifty years but I am still learning and I always will be as far as I am concerned.
Details HERE.No dan-bo I haven't and I am now intrigued. Do you have to jump through hoops before you are allowed on the track then.
