Thanks for looking after the wee man briefly Stewart! I didn't know about that until later on

Enjoyed the meet... and had a good ride today. I ended up going Round the Bridges after all.

Turned out to be my highest mileage in one day - 72 miles in total  I'm sure I'll feel it tomorrow.

Apologies to all

My wife sneaked in another task for me at 12:00 and I couldn't make it to the RV

Wot ? No 'bent

<shuffles off, head down, kicking stones, looking miserable ....>

- The 'bent is being upgraded at the moment, so its not going to be around for a few weeks!!

Guys to be honest - getting away on a Sat is difficult

- I plan to org an RV one summer evening - that should be easier to commit to.

Glad some people made it :-)
I had a very pleasant 2h30 ride with a good friend - out past Winchborough, through Uphall, and then we found some nice hilly little back roads above Balerno on the way back. It turned out nice and sunny too! :sun:

I've been through Winchborough a few times recently - one of my two usual routes out of Edinburgh brings me out at Kirkliston. I've a yellow and black Giant and at the moment am wearing my Edinburgh Triathletes cycling coat a lot, if you want to look out for me!!!

Is there some CC Ecosse in-joke about Winchborough that I'm not getting?

It might be your 'Anglicised/Americanised' spelling

.....

Back on topic, should wepickup1980/Jane be organising an CC Ecosse Forum Ride (all ride together from a fixed place/time) or an RV (all meet at the same place, getting there as we wish) ?

Personally, I'm aiming for a decent ride this Saturday, possibly over to Fife, possibly to East Lothian, possibly to West Lothian.

Decisive, that's me ...

I'm hoping to do the 3 Glens Explorer route on Saturday, so I may see you on the road! Are you back on the Condor?
