Well I was there at 13.00 but didn't see anyone else.

Guy came in on bike but was meeting other folk.

I was on my way back to Dalgety Bay from Perth so couldn't hang around.

Catch you next time guys

Were you riding a blue racing bike mate?

Must have missed you by a fraction, shame would have liked to say hello, but time (and tide) waits for no man. Hope you had a good ride put.

Great lunch out, good to meet SB and nice to see TM and 'The Beast', which is actually lighter than a) I expected, and b) TM makes out!

60 miles exactly for me from Stirling and back, nice run on the bike except for some dodgy surfaces, pools of water and the stench of the egg farms in Fife. The Garmin gave me 1925 calories so it's double egg, chips and beans for dinner, which is something I've not had in a very long time!

Brilliant pictures SB, although my wife did remark that we've not got much hair between us... I was going to respond with something about virility but it didn't seem appropriate seeing as though I've just been out for lunch with 3 other blokes!

I was on an old blue racer with guards and a carradice bag.

Mrs Gavster wanted me back at a reasonable time so knew I couldn't hang for long ... having looked at the photos the scone with jam and cream looked a heck of a lot better than the chunky kit-kat from a petrol station just outside of Perth.

Me and my mate Steve tend to get out most Sundays and often end up in LLL at about 11.00am.

You went right past me! I was standing right at the entrance waiting for Sam and Steven. The guy on the mountain bike came in just after you and I asked him if he was here for the CycleChat meet which was met with a blank look. I said to the guys that a blue racing bike was parked at the front door, but when we went over it was gone. Did you go down the path around the Loch then? We must have just missed you as we headed in.

Great day and a great lunch. T'was incredibly busy at LLL and we had a wait before getting a table, but the excellent food made up for it. Great to find another nutter thinking of doing the Snow Roads next year! Although, after being off the bike for 6 weeks my fitness has taken a nose dive, but at least the first steps have been taken to get back to where I was!

What a good-looking bunch of guys lot of cakes !

I've only just heard/read about this.

All last week I was laid abed with a rather unpleasant stomach bug xx( .....

... and have managed to loose 3 of the 4-5 kg I wanted to get off

.

Now to keep it off .....

What's next ??

How about this ? (from Sportive Kinross thread)

I'm half planning on doing a wee recce - see here (weather dependent) on 27 November. If anyone is interested in joining me, let me know and we could maybe organise a meetup. Plan would be to leave around 11:00 and get some lunch at Loch Leven Larder at the end.

My only observation would be to suggest a meet time of 1030 - either at LLL or at the SK start in Kinross.

Now, where did I leave my bike ... what does it look like .....
