What a cracking ride that was !

We had all (ride) day; we had CAKE [thanks to Mrs Scoosh]; we had fabulous scenery, scents and a group of scenesters ; we had new faces; 44% riding fixed/SS; our youngest rider finishing 60km ; sunburn ; a great day out.

This really is one of the best CC Ecosse rides for quiet roads, fabulous scenery and, when TechMech finds a nice cafe with CAKE , it will be hard to beat for a Forum ride anywhere .

If you have the opportunity, go and do it next week - maybe even in reverse !

Great ride, great route. It was a bit more hilly than I was expecting but I suppose that I can only improve from now on. I've learned a lot, people here have given me great advice which I have definitely taken on board. I'll get my bike sorted, be more prepared and have eaten proper foods before coming along on the next one. Can't wait!

The water from the first stop caught up with me today.

Not too bad, but glad my commute was not longer than it was.

Probably best to scratch it from repeat rides.
