CC Jury Verdict on centrelock to 6 hole disk convertors

I have a centrelock wheel and lots of 6 hole disks. Rather than buying new disks I was thinking of buying a convertor. Likely a pukka Shimano jobby as they're as cheap as nobrands.

Anyone got any bad experiences?

Can't see you having issues with a Shimano one tbh.

I have been using the Shimano one on my dynamo hub for nearly 2000 miles. Was in a similar boat with a few spare 6 bolt discs. Never had any issues whatsoever.

Watch out for fork clearance - tried to fit them with Fox forks and they just touched the fork leg

That's odd. I did a straight swap, made zero adjustment to the caliper position and it just worked.

Depends on a few things I guess - frame/forks/wheel/make of brake etc.

Ridgeback forks, plenty of space, Shimano wheel and hub, Shimano brakes
