Didn't realise you rode on the A64 - brave man. Sorry to read about your Moulton, it was a nice bike. But glad your not seriously injured.

Have the police found any witnesses?

It's a good start to the day to hear you are back with us, Uncle Phil. Sorry to hear about the Moulton but I'm sure you'll find one somewhere.

I've just stumbled on this thread and am glad to see that it has a relatively happy ending. Congratulations on being alive Phil. At least you can spend a couple of weeks drooling over bike catalogues looking for a replacement.

Really glad to hear that you are no where near as bad as reported (much better that way round), and sorry to hear about the bike. Have the police told you what the drivers version of the event was?

Hope you mend quickly and that Mrs Uncle Phil is giving you lots of tender loving care.

Very glad to hear your not too badly off Uncle Phil. As others have said, it's a shame about the bike.

Hope you make a speedy recovery Uncle Phil - just think about all the sympathy attention you will receive when you get back to work.

Glad to hear you're still in one piece Uncle Phil- take it easy and hope you get back on your feet and on your new bike. So sorry about the Moulton - hopefully you'll find a worthy bike to take it's place.

Like others, thought it was you. Having worked with folks who've had a severe head injury loud alarms rang. Delighted to hear your OK and back on CC. Good luck with finding a new bike.
