If anyone is still interested in drugs, the best cheap way to get high is:

...strong acid and the occasional, very, very thin line of speed to pep you up.

Best way? Have a bad trip and go out of your f***ing mind on some shite speed that is prob cut with Ketamine.

I would hope it was cut with ketamine, that would be better for your allround health. K is usually more of an E substitute, if you ask me.

Don't **** with me lee. I've had more drugs than you've had hot dinners.

Wind your neck in boy, you mention dinners? You'd be a mere snack to me.

Whoah, ha. I can see your mechanism is gone. You'll probably find that this thread was indulged by posters who were looking for a lord byron type, that is me, rather than a bez happy mondays type, which is clearly you.

A little line isn't so much of a bad thing, and if you can get hold of really good stuff, all yellow and a bit fluffy maybe, then you're on for a really good time. Seriously....

But if you're up for doing something truly amazing, don't mess around with Ketamine (nasty and potentially really addictive) or LSD, go for the big guys. Mescaline is truly amazing, and things like DMT take you to a genuinely different level....

I had a period where I tried a lot of drugs, and by the end of it the only drugs I truly liked were the strong psychedelics...

I see where you're going, chemicals mixed with nature, nice. I used to like LSD+pills+lots of weed to keep me going until the end of the rave. I eventually stopped the pills though.

now I'm well boring and it's just weed and drink

Totally anti-drugs, watching a close relative destroy themselves and all that they had in front of me was enough to put me off.

The person concerned was my father, he spent a number of days over new Year on life support after going on a bender. I had had no contact with him form many years after he anounced he wanted no more to do with me I only found out only when the slavation army family tracing service rang

Same here, dont touch them they are more dangerous than some believe. And those that think they know what they are doing generally dont.

I've only seen DMT second hand, and it was awesomely pretentious.

I think all this is about context. It's the where and the when as much as the drug itself. Peyote beside a lake in Guatemala, the moon rising over a volcano - now that's a night out. Coke in the toilets of a pub in Barking (with apologies to any Barking residents reading this) is not so much fun.

And the who. I'm a happy drunk. Always have been. A couple of glasses of wine and I really like the world - two bottles and I want to make love to it. One of my oldest friends, same age, same height, same sort of background, same sort of house, when he drinks he gets morose. It's just a matter of luck.

Where exactly did you have in mind?

Whilst I would agree with the crime bit, I don't understand the "most unpleasant regimes" at least insofar as coke is concerned.

The largest coke producing countries have governments which are (relatively) democratically elected and, broadly speaking, popular. They also span the political spectrum - from Morales to Uribe.
