now I know fine well that Shaun is CCer of the Year, but this is not the place for Sucking Up To The Boss. There's an entire forum at the bottom of the page for that! So, setting aside his Glorious, Allknowing, Everkind Adminship (may his Progeny be Many and his Ports know no Storms), who gets your vote for CCer of the Year?

With me it's personal. TC and Adrian, ever willing to encourage Susie when she doubted herself, are part of a noble pantheon. 'Teef, that man among men, who so nobly lent her a hand on the road in to Lewes - what can one say, except 'pistols at dawn behind the Luxembourg!'

.....but my top CCer is that paragon of virtue, Mr. Fab Foodie. He it was that persuaded my girl that she could make it up the Ditchling Beacon, a feat that she's repeated twice since, and which has made 2011 her Annus Cyclingmirabilus! Rarely a ride goes by that she doesn't remind herself (and me) that she has conquered the Beacon

FF - I salute you! I don't doubt that you've made women very happy before and since, but rarely can it have been to such lasting effect! You are a prince among men, an axample to us all, and it is an honour to have made your acquaintance!

It was a pleasure to help her and witness one of the gutsiest rides I've ever seen. I was lucky to be in the right place at the right time.

I'd have him down as FFer of the year - although he might have lost a few lbs since then...
You mention TC Adrian (for my part, let's not forget User10571) but Frank would be in the frame as a patient (with me) CC riding companion - we have had a laugh from time to time on some rides this year, and I think his writing and practical input has been helpful - as has Els/swarm_catcher's reportage and skilful photography to illustrate her rides. PBP connection there too - totally coincidental.
