CCers pets thread

Well, the recent 'Microchips for Dogs' thread and the 'What else do you enjoy doing' thread (where a couple of people, myself included said dog walking) made me think I'd like to see people's pets, and show off mine too! So to start things off, here are a couple of pictures of my dogs - Snoop the staffy, and Echo the springer.

To explain Snoops pictures - he has a pronounced underbite, so when he sleeps or rests, his tongue tends to 'leak' out ^^

This is my mate Patch. He's a Jack Rusell X and is about 18 months old. This was taken yesterday after a long walk during which he found a football and proceeded to play with it in every muddy puddle he could find. A swim in the river and a full on bath once home were called for ^_^

and this is Smokey, (aka Mr Smoo and the origins of my username). He's about 14 now and doesn't like Patch, mind you Patch 'aint keen on him either! He doesn't have a pronounced under bite, he just has no front teeth left to hold his tongue in

Great stuff! I love dogs, and cats too (but I'm allergic).

I used to have a greyhound but she's gone to live in the countryside with the grandparents. They're retired and can walk her more frequently than we could, in more pleasant surroundings. I couldn't stand in her way, but I miss not having her about.

Boushti the cat.

We were living in this flat in the town centre. Below us lived a vet. One day she locked herself out, couldn't get hold of the landlord so she stayed the night- along with a rescued cat.

Three days later the cat was still with us, and he'd been (re)named. I finally got the message.

I don't know how old he is, we've had him six years.
